Katarína Machalová Hey people  I’m Kate and this is my short introduction. I live in a small Slovak village (officially it is called city) Presov, but I was born in a smaller village (which is also considered as a city) called LiptovskyMikulas in 1st October 1995. I have just came to Presov from Kazakhstan (no, I didn’t  meet Borat) where I lived in a real city Almaty. I was there for cca 1 year and my English improved a lot there mostly because I attended American school. After reading this, imagine how bad my English had to be before, haha :D My interests I like music. It has started in my 2nd grade when my mom had signed me into the folk group where I sang for 5 years. They really developed my singing talent there. After that I sang just on competitions and concerts by myself. In 4th grade I wanted to start playing an instrument. I chose violin but my potential future violin teacher persuaded me to choose cello. This year, my 7th year of playing, I’m going to have cello graduation and finish the 1st cycle of art school. I play also a bit of guitar, piano, and recorder, but I’ve learned to play it just by myself so it isn’t very good. My family I’m eldest sister. My older sister, Yana, is 12 years old. She is doing rhythmic gymnastics and she is very good at it. Next year she is going to be a representative of Slovakia (now she is too young). The younger one, Alexandra, is 10 years old. She likes soccer very much, especially Cristiano Ronaldo,haha. Both my sisters draw very well. My parents, Anna and Marek, both studied as math teachers but my dad is working as IT manager. My mom was a professor of maths and descriptive geometry at university of Presov. My parents are the best parents around the world. My family is not big. I don’t have any cousins, because I don’t have an uncle either. I have just one auntie Gabriela. She is a doctor and she is not married although she is 47 years old.I have no enduring male ancestors older than my father. I have just one grandmother Maria. She is from my father’s side and she is 78 years old. The time I really laughed It was the time when I went with my class to Martin to participate in the competition called Supertrieda. We went by train, and I remember when one of my classmates in our compartment started to laugh in a really funny way. We all started to laugh because of her laughter and we laughed for 10 minutes I guess. Our faces were completely red. The most absurd thing is that it didn’t have any reason :D My friends I think now my best friend is my boyfriend. He knows all about me, he is here for me all the time. Since time when my best friend was cheating on me (I’m not mad on her… I just feel sackcloth and ashes) I use to spend all day with him, sometimes with my classmates. I have many friends, but actually I can’t say who of them are true friends. When I attended elementary and middle school my best friends and true friends were my classmates. However, now they are at other schools or other classes, they all have changed, and in the long run we don’t meet often.Now, at the secondary level, I really like my new classmates, but I have known them just for short time regarding on the fact that I was abroad. They are really nice, kind, I can have a chat with them, and I‘ve experienced many great whiles with them. I also have to mention my friends from Almaty, even they’ve never been my best friends but I spent a lot of time with them. Girls who supported me the most were Valeria (RUS- GER), Nandani (India), Jihee (Korea), Jin Ha (Korea), Claire (USA), Day-Lynn (Canada), and Eva from Netherlands. They gave me a hand with English, and I spent tons of quite funny situations with them. The career I want to pursue I would like to study at some university in a state where French is an official language. I want to become a family doctor because I like to work with people, and in my childhood I used to assist my aunt in her emergency office. It prepossesses me to this job. I also like biology. I am aware of responsibility of patients who believe in me, and I’m conscious of that it is really hard work for human’s psychics and sometimes also maybe physics. I’m a bit afraid of it, but someone has to do this job, don’t they? Website made by Website made by
