Ján Adam Rayman Grammar School

I am in the eight, and therefore last year of an 8-year long study programme at Ján Adam Rayman Grammar School (GJAR). It is located on Mudroňova Street in my hometown of Prešov. I attended English and German language classes at our local language school located on the Plzenská Street.

I used my knowledge of languages in a recital competition called Language Flower, where I recited my own short stories written in German - Of sorrows and joys (pdf, 99 KiB) and Shadows of the past (pdf, 102 KiB). I placed first in the national round for three years in a row. I also participated in an online competition called Best in English and placed first in our country and eighth on the international level out of 16 462 students.

I have participated in various mathematical competitions as well, namely Mathematical Olympiad and an international competition called Mathematical Náboj. I also participated in a team-oriented scientific competition called the International Young Physicists’ Tournament and our team finished in fifth place in the national round of the competition in the school year 2018/19.
